It’s been a long time in the planning, but Hills ParcelDirect is pleased to announce that we
have moved our Sydney operations to a new facility.
From May 5, we will be operating from a purpose-built
site located in Smithfield.
We’re really excited about this move and the array of benefits it will bring to customers like you,
as well as helping us to respond quickly to the positive growth our customers are experiencing.
The move to Smithfield has been undertaken so we are able to future-proof the capacity
and capability of Hills ParcelDirect against a backdrop of increasing demand, as well as overcome the logistical
issues created by operating from a small site. Our new Smithfield site is better located and allows us
room to expand in the future. This move means we’re able to better manage our
linehaul vehicles, sharpening our distribution times.
We’re also pleased to announce we’ve installed a new parcel conveyor system, and are rolling
out sign-on-glass and "real-time" scanners into country areas. We’re confident this investment
in technology will really set us apart, ensuring we can continue to deliver the fastest,
most effective and reliable service possible.
