A safe place to work At Hills ParcelDirect, we place a strong emphasis on compliance, in order to provide a safe and orderly environment for all our employees. Occupational Health & Safety Occupational Health & Safety plays an integral role in our business, with regular committee meetings continually working towards a safer workplace. All employees are required to complete pre-employment medical examinations, random drug and alcohol testing, as well as on-going training in safe work practices. Our quarterly on-site depot audits, together with regular audits by other relevant bodies, ensure all areas of compliance are kept up-to-date. Driver Safety Each and every Hills ParcelDirect vehicle is part of a pro-active, regular maintenance program, with all company vehicles included in the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS). Our drivers, who we see as the core of our business, complete: pre-employment medical examinations other medical examinations, as required, from time to time random drug and alcohol testing training in Basic Fatigue Management Hills ParcelDirect has also attained accreditation in NHVAS Fatigue Management (accreditation number: BFM-150969). We take a pro-active approach to workplace safety through on-going education and training, ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility and other legislation.
