From little things...
Hills ParcelDirect was established in 1981. From meager beginnings, we have grown to have one of the most substantial express parcel networks covering NSW. As part of our continuing growth, Hills ParcelDirect is now proud to extend its reach further along the eastern seaboard of Australia. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of Express Couriers Australia, and proudly employ in excess of 350 people.

Our Network
Our numerous company-owned depots are strategically located, and each depot is online and managed by an experienced regional manager who is responsible for the operations of his or her business unit. Hills' integrated transport network is bound by an exceptional rapport between all of our depots and their associated agents, who operate under highly disciplined reporting procedures and guidelines.

Dedicated Customer Service staff are located in each company depot, all of which are connected to the Hills network for real-time information access. Strong relationships with clients are built on candid and open communication. At Hills, we are proud of our retention rates for both clients and employees, which affirms our continuing commitment to invest time to "get to know YOU". Logically, therefore, Hills' staff are able to offer highly interactive, knowledgeable support and are committed to acting in our clients' best interest.

Information Technology
Information Technology has always been a priority for Hills ParcelDirect, and experts in many different areas form the basis of the Hills IT team. This diverse knowledge base enables us to offer complete flexibility in both the sending and receiving of information electronically. Never satisfied with "off-the-shelf" solutions, Hills has always developed most of its systems in-house, for example:
  • our own imaging system, IMAGE-IT, enables processing at any depot without the paperwork moving
  • our despatch system, TRANS-IT, provides electronic freight consignment capabilities to those clients without internal systems of their own
  • SERVICE-IT offers an extremely robust monitoring and reporting system which assists the Hills/client partnership in identifying areas of concerns and monitors improvement
  • our consignment scanning, SCAN-IT, offers the security of scan tracking
  • and, of course, our web-site www.hills.parceldirect.com.au offers full transparency through Track & Trace, Proof of Delivery image visibility and online customer service enquiries
